Trip, Part 5: Heading For Home

All aboard!

This wooden train is so neat!

Near the Mackinac Bridge

We tried to get a family shot, but it turned out kinda funny

Splashing around in the water

Stopped at a rest area. Daddy says this is a candid shot.

Here's the not candid version of the shot!

I hope you've enjoyed all the pictures!

Trip, Part 4: Valley Camp Museum Ship and The Mystery Spot

Looking at the Engine Room of the Valley Camp with Daddy

Looking over the side of the ship from the upper level

At the Mystery Spot - Um... something's wrong here...

Seriously, nothing is holding me. Is the gravity working here?

Getting ready for some more wacky gravity...

The tour guide is getting ready to let go of my chair...

Oh my gosh! I'm totally sitting in the air! Only the back two legs of the chair are even on anything!!!
I'm not sure what was even going on at that mystery spot, but I sure enjoyed myself and even enchanted the tour guide and other members of our tour group.

Stay tuned for one more set of pictures from our trip!

Trip, Part 3: Toonerville Trolley and Tahquamenon Falls

These narrow gauge tracks are just my size!

Normally I'm not allowed to do this!

I'm just so excited to go for a long train ride!

Grumpin' (and watching the water splash from the wheels)

Trying to find that unicorn Mama spotted

Grumpin' some more (and STOP taking my picture!)

Sitting in the engine. This is so cool!

I even got to toot the horn!

Studying my "cattail" near the Tahquamenon River while the engine turned around. Daddy tried to tell me it wasn't a cattail, but I wouldn't listen to him.

Ringing the bell while we waited to head back

Contemplating...

Mama and I on the ride back. I was grumpin' some more (and Mama and Daddy suspect a little tired, too).

Overlooking the Lower Tahquamenon Falls

Mama would like to add that we didn't get any pictures of me at the Upper Tahquamenon Falls because I was being a real grump then. All I wanted to do was go back to our hotel and swim in the pool. Though, I did think it was neat to see the animal skins they had on display near the upper falls. They came from REAL animals!

And still more pictures to come!

Trip, Part 2: Soo Locks

Watching a ship leave the lock

Being my usual self - silly!

Loving that fountain!

Trying to get a better look...

A display at the information center

On our way back to the car, I discovered a slab of concrete that looked like a stage. I jumped up there and asked Daddy to take some pictures. Here I am posing!

More to come!

Trip, Part 1: Castle Rock

Babe the Blue Ox and Paul Bunyan at Castle Rock

Climbing stairs to get to the viewing platform

Photo Op!

I loved being up at the top and I was singing and dancing.

We are SO high!

Daddy's cuties! If you look closely (in the bigger picture), you might be able to see the Mackinac Bridge to the left of my head.

There were daisies growing! I wanted to have one to put in my hair, but there were bugs all over them so I opted for a picture with them instead.

Stay tuned for more pictures!

Summer Cutie

Need I say more?

Hanging at a Local Festival

I talk about this festival just about as often as I remember it.  We went a few years ago and it made such an impression that I keep asking to go back.  This year, we were able to make it again! Yippee!

Here I am enjoying some breakfast...

Laughing!

Here I am trying to pedal this bike so I could make the light bulb light up. I did eventually get going, but lost my momentum when I turned to look at the light bulb.

And who can pass up the opportunity to pose with a GIANT cow? Surely not I!

I got to do a few other things, too, like catch a rubber ducky! I was then asked a question about what water is called when it is solid (frozen). I got it right with the answer ice! And there was a nice gentleman with his two dogs that were HUGE! I thought they looked almost like horses. We even tried to find some characters to walk around, but when we did find them they were all going on break. I was disappointed, but I guess there is always next year!

Being a Flower Girl

My cousin D (one of Mama's cousins) asked if I would be a flower girl in her wedding. I was, of course, excited to be one! Then I had to ask what a flower girl was.

Here I am on the beach for the rehearsal with the other flower girl and the 2 ring bearers. We didn't realize it would be so cold (it was in the upper 80's when we left home!), so I was wrapped up in a blanket Mama had in the car. We still had fun romping around on the beach, though!

Here I am wearing my flower girl dress...

A picture with cousin D and soon to be cousin D...

A picture of Mama, Daddy, and I...

A picture of everyone! That's Grandma C, Aunt Pookie, Aunt T, and Grandpa D in the back. And, of course, Mama, Daddy, and I sitting down.

Smiling for the camera. I'm not sure why, but *everyone* wanted to take my picture!

Here I am tossing the flower petals!

A picture of Mama and I after the ceremony...

Yet another picture of me. Mama and Daddy just love this one.

Being a flower girl is hard work! And so is posing for all the pictures. On the way home, Mama found me tuckered out in the back seat.
