My Birthday Party

Oh wow! I've just gotten another year older! Mama and Daddy planned a Princess Birthday party for me and it was great! Of course, I didn't really care so much about the party but playing with cousins B and M and eating the cake and ice cream was great. I even loved all the attention. I was kinda bummed that Miss D and her kids B and D couldn't make it, but I guess there's always next time! Here's some pictures from my party.

Here I am wearing my Princess tiara.

I'm helping Daddy get the ballons ready.

Blowing out my candles...

Here's me checking out the giant bug from Aunt A, Uncle B, and B and M.

Wowsers! I got a dollar with a 10 on it from Cookie-Lady and Mr. Eo. I didn't even know they made dollars with 10's on them!

Grandma R got me some toys for my sandbox.
Grandma C and Grandpa D (and Mama and Daddy, too) got me a trike. Now if only they'd let me outside to check it out!
And by far the toy I've played with the most has been my baby Elmo from Aunt Pookie and Miss T. I just loooooooove Elmo!!

Fudge and I

We've had a breakthrough, everyone! Fudge let me pet her the other day and I even let Daddy take pictures of us. I even reminded her to smile.

Visiting

Yeah!! Aunt Pookie came to visit and she brought a really cool person with her... Miss T! We had so much fun I didn't want them to leave. I was even cheesin' for them (like I don't do for Mama anymore). Miss T even taught me how to say 'baby' the way she does, so it sounds something like bay-bay. Aunt Pookie and Miss T played legos with me...

And bought me these cool sunglasses...

And climbed on the climber at Burger King with me...

And here's a picture of all 3 of us!

My First Egg-Hunt

I got to go on my first egg-hunt this year! At first I was confused when Mama and Daddy were talking about hunting eggs. I mean, why do we have to hunt eggs, they're in the fridge!! But then I discovered that they're not real eggs. I wasn't quite sure what to do in the beginning, but then I got the hang of it.

Don't I look so proud carrying my egg?

Dr. Jelly Bean

So... before I was ever born, Grandma R gave Mama and Daddy a stethoscope. Mama was cleaning up the linen closet and I discovered this wonderful gem one day! Well, you can't see it very well in the first picture, but Mama liked the way my reflection showed up in the glass.

Just Chillin'

I have discovered that this is a really fun way to sit in Daddy's computer chair! When I get tired of playing "Penguins" or "Boing Boing Bunnies", I'll sit this way and just look so cute!

Table Climbing - For Professionals Only

Hello Everyone! Seems like its been a while (well, Daddy says it has been a while!) but really I'm not letting Mama and Daddy take pictures. It's more fun to throw tantrums and whine. Mama keeps saying I must have hit the 'terrible twos' early. I have no idea what she is talking about! *looks innocent*

I'm not really much for climbing, except maybe to climb all over my Daddy-gym, but I have discovered I can climb up on the table in the living room. I, however, do not advise anyone to try this with footie-jammies on as it makes it very slippery! I am a trained professional, though, so its okay for me to do it.

Some Memorable Moments

Oh... Mama has been reminiscing about some of the things I've done recently (and not so recently)...

When Grandma C and Grandpa D got their house we were over there one day working on it. I didn't have my crib there yet so Grandma C made a little bed for me out of the crib mattress and a bunch of blankets. They put me down for a nap one afternoon, but I really didn't feel like going to sleep. So, for a while I played around. I eventually got bored and decided I wanted out... the only problem was that the door was closed and I couldn't open it. However, as everyone soon discovered, I was able to get the closet door open. The closet is one big closet that is shared with my room and Grandma and Grandpa's room, so I went through the closet and got out through Grandma and Grandpa's room!! I'm so smart! Everyone was laughing too hard that they couldn't get upset with me.

More recently, I was supposed to be taking my nap at Grandma and Grandpa's house, but again I didn't feel like doing that. Well, Grandma left my diaper wipes where I could reach them and forgot to mention it to Mama when Mama put me down. I decided it would be fun to pull them all out and throw them on the floor. After a while of me making noises and playing around, Grandma came in to check on me and discovered what I had done. Of course, she had to call everyone else in to see the masterpiece I had created. I'm not sure why, but they won't let me around the diaper wipes anymore.

Another time, involved Seven (our cat). I really really REALLY want to be friends with Seven, but for some reason he always runs away (Mama says its because he's a fraidy-cat and doesn't like loud noises and that I'm pretty noisy). One day we came inside and Seven was laying on the couch pillow. I went over to him and he didn't move. I could have pet him if I wanted. Mama saw this and told me to be very quiet. Well, I wanted to be polite and not pet him if he were sleeping, so I yelled as loud as I could "WAKIE!!" Needless to say, Seven ran away so fast I didn't even see him.
