Well, I've been going with Mama and Daddy to the dentist since I was just a wee little baby, and last time I went I let Ms. R look at my teeth. This time she said I could have a ride in the chair just like Mama, and since I was having so much fun she asked if I'd let her polish my teeth. Mama's teeth were so sparkly I decided to go for it. Ms. R put a bib on me and I even got to wear sunglasses so the light wasn't so bright!
Ms. R let me pick out a toothbrush to have and I got to hold the little mirror that they use to look at your teeth.
When Ms. R would polish my teeth she'd also rinse. I got to hold the sucker-thingy that sucks the water out of your mouth! I didn't quite get that I wasn't supposed to swallow the rinse water, but it was really fun using the sucker-thing. Mama and Daddy were laughing because I didn't want to let go.
The polish Ms. R used smelled soooo minty! I even let Dr. G look in my mouth and he says I have lots of teeth in there! When Ms. R was done and it was Daddy's turn, she let me pick out a prize from the prize bucket, then she also gave me some toothpaste to go with my toothbrush and some chapstick for my lips. For not planning my first trip, it sure was fun!
