My Trip to the Apple Orchard
Mama, Daddy, Grandpa D, and I took a trip to a local apple orchard. At first we didn't think we'd be able to go because it was raining, but in the afternoon the rain cleared up and we decided to chance it.
The first thing we did was take a wagon ride through the apple orchard. Here we are waiting to leave. It was actually kinda hard to take pictures since every time Mama went to snap a picture the sun decided to shine!

Grandpa D took this picture of Daddy, me, and Mama when were were stopped for a minute to let some people on at one of the apple rows.

After the wagon ride I got to do a lot of other fun things. There was a giant jumping pillow that I just loved! I think I could have stayed here and I would have been happy.
After a short jaunt home to change mine and Daddy's clothes (don't ask! I don't want to relive that fiasco!), we came back and Mama talked me into trying this thing out:
Yep, it's a great big super-gigantic slide down the side of a hill. But I wasn't scared at all. I just climbed up that hill, waited my turn, and voila!:

I also checked out the little apple train...

And, of course, you can't go to the apple orchard without having apple cider and cinnamon-sugar donuts. YUM!

Grandpa D also told me I could pick out a pumpkin to take home. I dragged Grandpa all over the "pumpkin patch" to find just the right pumpkin. I finally picked one out that was adequate and Grandpa put it in my wagon.

I pulled that pumpkin all by myself. And when we had it weighed it came in at 19+ pounds! Yep, I definitely had fun.

A Pumpkin Mystery
Call the police! A poor pumpkin has been victimized!
The Culprit...
(okay, so this picture wasn't really taken that day, but Mama thought it was pretty funny and made me look a little unstable. Gee, thanks, Mom!)
The Victim, a poor defenseless little pumpkin minding his own buisness...

The crime in progress...

Now this poor pumpkin will no longer be able to show his face at the pumpkin patch again. How can a pumpkin say he's a pumpkin if he's no longer orange?!?

Love Ya, Aunt Pookie and Ms. T
Mama was going through some old pictures from Aunt Pookie and Ms. T's camera when they came to visit this summer. She thought she'd share...
Aunt Pookie and Me enjoying some fun times together (okay, so really I probably just thought the monkey was cool!)

And Mama says she just loves this picture of me and Ms. T! Sorry, Ms. T, but what happens at Grandma and Grandpa's doesn't stay at Grandma and Grandpa's if Mama loves the picture, teehee.

Flying into History
So for Daddy's birthday we went to the Air Force Museum. At first I was so excited to see all the airplanes. Here I am doing my plane imitation while we waited for Daddy and Grandpa D to park.

I thought the airplanes were okay, but I had more fun looking for the displays that had statues set up. It took me a bit to understand that they weren't real people, but Grandma C just kept reminding me they were statues. Grandma C followed me all over the exhibit! In typical kid fashion, I had Grandma C worn out in no time and we went and sat down until everyone else was done.
While the museum was pretty neat, I had a blast with our hotel room!! Here is me and Bear.

And here I am returning from Narnia. I'm not sure what Narnia is, but Mama and Daddy were sure having a ball. I just liked hiding in the wardrobe and jumping out while Daddy tried to get pictures of me.

On one of our visits we went to an area that had experimental planes. This is the only shot Mama, Daddy, and Grandpa D could get of me by an airplane. After this one picture I made sure to scream and throw a fit so that they couldn't get any more of me. Mama said I was being moody.

On the other side of the hanger were planes from past presidents. Here's a shot of Grandpa D, Mama, me, and Daddy.

Here I am inside on of the planes looking at a statue of a past president. It's a good thing he's only a statue, because he'd probably be pretty mad at being locked behind glass all the time!!

This one was taken of me before we ever went to the museum. Grandpa D took it as a joke to Daddy (since Daddy doesn't even want to think about me dating yet!).
