Mama, Daddy, and I would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas!
For your Christmas viewing pleasure, we decorated a Gingerbread House.
The objective: decorate this house...
The tools: a very patient (yes, really!) Jelly Bean and LOTSA candy!!!
Caught on tape: What?!? I've got to make sure it tastes okay...
Patterning on the roof by a very serious artist...
Checking all the details...
Candy? What candy? I haven't been eating any candy. Who said anything about candy? *boing boing boing*
Hmm, I think it could use a little more decorations on the back...
Yes, a little more here...
A little tweak there...
And a wonderful final creation!

Family Get Together
It's that time of the year again when I go with Grandma C and Grandpa D to visit my extended family. You might have seen these pictures, since one of my grown-up cousins took the pictures and posted them.
Here I am posing with Santa! Mama says to enjoy since in most cases, while I love Santa, he kinda scares me and I don't want my picture taken.
And here I am chill'n with some of my soon to be third cousins once removed or something like that. Mama doesn't get it either, so we just say they're my cousins.
We have got to be just the cutest kids ever!

Christmas Party
Woohoo! My helper day at school also happened to be our Christmas party. When Mama got to school we were doing our rug time routine. Since it was my helper day, I got to tell Ms. L what the weather was like outside. Here I am being the weather-girl...
As part of our party we got to make some ornaments to take home. Here I am making my candy cane. At first I started out with a green and clear pattern, but then I just went crazy and added whatever color.
Here I'm working on a dough ornament. As you can see, I was really hoping Mama would just take the picture already!
And this one was our third ornament - a gingerbread baker! I'm pretending to roll out my gingerbread man while we wait for our directions...
After we did our ornaments, it was time for snack. And since it was my helper day, I get to help pass out the milk.
And what party is complete without a little silliness! Some of my icing from my cupcake made a green mustache on me!

What's Up, Doc?
Dude! Check out this carrot Mama found in the carrot bag!!
It's HUGE!!!
My Bugs Bunny impersonation...
I munched on that carrot all afternoon, and ate all but a little nub at the end. Granted, Mama and Daddy got a chuckle because it also turned the lower half of my face orange.

Oh Christmas Tree
Yippee! Mama and Daddy told me I could have my own little tree this year. Yippee!! I was sooooo excited to find out I could have my own tree, and even though Mama tried to tell me that her and Daddy were thinking about it, I just had to tell everyone I met that Mama and Daddy were thinking of letting me have my own little tree to decorate. Secretly, I just KNEW they were going to let me. When Mama and Daddy said it was a go, I started jumping up and down with glee. Then I began to wig out because I didn't have any ornaments to put on it. But, never fear faithful readers, Mama and Daddy had that worked out, too. As we were putting ornaments up on the big tree, Mama and Daddy were giving some to me for my tree. Later, we went to the store to get some small bulbs to fill in the bare spots. And, Grandma and Grandpa have even given me some ornaments for it. *squee*
After I decorated it, Daddy and I worked to make a paper chain to use as a garland. That was actually quite a bit of work, so eventually I just left it to Daddy to do (Mama came and helped him out, so don't worry).
All decorated!
You see the star on top? I was all worried about what to put on the top of my tree. Mama would tell me to relax (like I could do that, hello! gotta worry here), that we would figure it out when the time came. Well, as I was decorating I kept mulling over what to do. Then, I remembered the magnet hanging on the fridge (it was a star Mama had made) and thought it would look awesome on my tree! So, I snagged it off the fridge and it became my tree topper. Hmm, I guess Mama was right about figuring it out when the time came.

At the Parade
As a kick-off to the holiday season we went downtown to see the parade. Before we went I was all excited - I couldn't wait to see the floats. Mama and Daddy and Grandpa and Grandma thought it would be kinda chilly, so Grandma let me borrow her hat and scarf. I loved the scarf, but sadly the hat just didn't want to stay on. Mama had to keep pulling it down for me.
When the parade started it was very VERY noisy. All the fire trucks came by and they would blow their horn and put their sirens on. I did NOT like that part very much. I was excited, though, to see the fire trucks from our city go by.
Daddy let me sit on his shoulders some of the time so that I could see over the crowd.
And sometimes he just held me. Everyone say "hi" to Daddy!
And after a couple hours people started clearing out, so I was able to stand and watch the parade.
We kept waiting to see Santa go by, but the parade was really really long and eventually I got tired. But, I did get some candy that the nice people in front of us passed back to me.
