Learning to Accessorize

Grandma tried to buy me a headband, but when she got home she discovered what she thought was a headband was actually just some hair ties. We still had fun anyway! I had a bow in my hair, two on my wrists as bracelets, and Grandma even put some on my ears like earrings.

Now I'm stylin'!

Making a Cake

Now that Grandma C and Grandpa D's kitchen is almost done, it's getting easier to do stuff. The other day Grandma C made a peach-pineapple upside down cake, and the best part was she let me help!! Here is where we're mixing the batter...

Noise

Well, first off I just needed to let you know that Grandpa D has been bugging Mama to update my blog. Mama says we haven't been taking pictures, which is quite true because I'm being a little stinker. I've decided not to take pictures any more. Not that Mama doesn't try! Usually I run away or throw a fit. Sometimes Daddy can get a picture of me, but I think that's because Mama distracts me!

Anyway, we've also been hanging out at Grandma C and Grandpa D's house A LOT!! Daddy is working very hard to get their kitchen done... so much so that I call it "Daddy's Kitchen". Everyone thinks this is so funny, I just don't get it. Part of the work means lots of noise! I know to assume the position when Daddy says "I'm going to be cutting". At first Grandma C and Mama (and sometimes even Grandpa D) had to help me cover my ears, but now I do it on my own... though sometimes its nice to have Mama or Grandma C hold me and cover my ears, too.

Don't I look sooooo serious? I'm concentrating very hard to keep my ears covered.

By the way, the shirt I'm wearing came from Grandma R and it says "Everyone loves a blue-eyed girl".
